Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season 4. She played a cook known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 90s, she appeared regularly in Carol & Company as a co-star with Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show because she wanted to be a part-time character with a bigger role, took her place. She had a role on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home 2005-2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded her the Best Supporting Actress Award from Methodfest 2005, for her performance in the character she performed on One Last Ride. Barone began her character as the mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - - three years following The War at Home concluded the film's run. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character, on two of the episodes.
