Most well-known for her role on the soap opera Guiding Light and as Marina Cooper on the soap show Guiding Light and Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. The actress was featured in two episodes of Showtime's Weeds which starred Mary Louise Parker. Her roles included Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 series Point Pleasant, and Marcy playing a character on Dawson's Creek. In 2003 she was a character on Marina Cooper on the Guiding Light. The role won her a nomination at Soap Opera Digest Awards in 2003 for Best newcomer. Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas in the ABC show Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. She starred on her 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
